The Management:

  • A proven track-record
    • The core of the current executive team came on board in November 2004 and early 2005
    • During 2005 the company fulfilled the BEE requirements of the South African Department of Minerals and Energy
    • In late 2005, management acquired:
      • The former Randfontein Estates Number 4 shaft with its substantial gold and uranium resource. It was renamed Ezulwini.
      • Buffelsfontein Mine, boosting the company's gold resources by 14.3 million ounces.
    • December 2006: First Uranium Corporation is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, raising gross proceeds of CDN$233-million (Canadian dollars) in the process
    • March 2007, First Uranium is listed on the JSE-Limited, trading under the symbol FUM
    • In February 2009, the Company completed a successful private placement of shares to acquire the Tau Lekoa Mine and integrate it into Buffelsfontein Gold Mine
