- The former Randfontein Estates Number 4 shaft with its substantial gold and uranium resource. It was renamed Ezulwini.
- Buffelsfontein Mine, boosting the company's gold resources by 14.3 million ounces.
- December 2006: First Uranium Corporation is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, raising gross proceeds of CDN$233-million (Canadian dollars) in the process
- March 2007, First Uranium is listed on the JSE-Limited, trading under the symbol FUM
- In February 2009, the Company completed a successful private placement of shares to acquire the Tau Lekoa Mine and integrate it into Buffelsfontein Gold Mine
